Gone are the days when all you needed was to understand the difference between equal opportunities and diversity. Now you have to have your policies written down and proactively make sure all your staff have them. Even if you're a one person band, you should keep abreast of current policies that affect your particular field. Business insurance companies are also starting to want to check you have policies in place. Don't worry, I can help you with basic policy creation, ranging from free empty templates, through to packs of policies that need my help in filling in and branding, through to complete customisation services and staff training.

This is a simple policy to both define what bullying or harassment can be, and help protect you and/or your staff from bullying or harassment both within and from outside your business.

E-Safety Policy

If you have computing or mobile equipment out in the field, how do you ensure their use is not abused and what process do you have to help mitigate the outcomes? How do you manage and protect your data? This policy helps you define the what, how and who.

If you have staff who access a company vehicle, this policy explains how you expect them to behave with that vehicle.

There are many more policies to consider for your business, dependent on the type of business you want to run. I can help you define these for a small fee. Furthermore, the times are changing and a raft of new post-Brexit legislation is expected next year. I can help keep you on top of any changes you may need to make.

I also strongly advise that if you have employees working for you that you do two things.

Make sure they sign a document to say they have read AND understood your policies.
