Absolutely. Globalisation in and of itself is NOT a good thing in my book. Will definitely check out the work of Vandana Shiva, especially as an upcoming episode of the podcast looks at the whole idea of Gaia and the living world (in which humans are largely fulfilling the role of parasite!).
